Gifted Child Quarterly
Gifted Child Quarterly (GCQ) is the scholarly journal of the National Association for Gifted Children. Since 1957, GCQ has published manuscripts offering new information and creative insights about giftedness and talent development in the context of the school, the home, and the wider society.
GCQ publishes original scholarly reviews of literature as well fj12530 as quantitative and qualitative research studies written by experts in gifted education and related fields. The journal also publishes manuscripts reviewing policy and policy implications and offers reviews and critiques of books and fj12530 tests with an emphasis on scholarly texts, texts with policy implications, or instruments fj12530with potential use in assessing gifted children and youth. In addition, GCQ on occasion publishes special issues devoted to current topics of interest to the field.
GCQ also serves an archival function for the National Association for fj12530Gifted Children, publishing position papers and other official documents of the organization.
